Audi A6 L e-tron plug-in hybrid has been unveiled recenty. As we know by now the car will be offered exclusively on the Chinese market and thanks to the great work that it implied it now offers a special plug-in hybrid setup. Most likely the special model will go on sale next year.
As far as the aspect of the car goes it is important to state that the new Audi A6 L e-tron plug-in hybrid weighs around 2,000 kg (4,409 lbs) while the CO2 emissions are of just 52 g/km.
Other elements that make the car special are 18-inch e-tron alloy wheels, LED light guides in the air inlets, Explore Blue exterior paint and dual exhaust tailpipes in the rear bumper.
This hybrid sistem consists of four-cylinder 2.0-liter TFSI engine and an electric motor and provides the Audi A6 L e-tron with a combined output of 245 PS (180 kW) and 500 Nm (369 lb-ft).
The car runs the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in 8.4 seconds and has a top speed of 131 mph (210 km/h) or 84 mph (135 km/h) solely on electric power. Basically the new Audi has a 14.1 kWh lithium-ion battery pack that allows it to run in electric mode for 31 miles (50 km).
