The new 2015 Jaguar XE is set to make public debut at a special event in London on the 8th of September, before going on sale in Europe in the first months of 2015.
This sports saloon vehicle from Jaguar is going to come with a lightweight aluminium-intensive architecture, a sophisticated chassis and an F-Type front suspension.
2015 Jaguar XE will benefit from an all-new electric power steering, the new Land Rover-derived ‘All Surface Progress Control’ system that was designed to offer optimum traction in slippery conditions, as well as other features designed to improve handling and offer a high-quality ride.
Reports indicate that this rear-wheel drive Jaguar will sport the company’s new range of turbocharged petrol and diesel ‘Ingenium’ engines. The most powerful model is rumoured to reach a top speed of 186 mph. A hybrid model may also be introduced.
With all its new technology and refinement, Jaguar XE is expected to compete successfully on the market against rivals like the BMW 3 Series, the Audi A4 and Mercedes C Class.
