The German car manufacturer has recently revealed a facelifted version of the Polo GTI. The vehicle in question is slated to make a public appearance soon at the 2014 Paris Motor Show.
The 2015 Volkswagen Polo GTI Facelift is taking its power from a new 1.8-litre four-cylinder engine that produces 192 hp and 236 lb-ft of torque. The car will be able to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds before reaching a top speed of 236 km/h.
Transmission duties for the Polo GTI Facelift are performed by either a a six-speed manual or a seven-speed DSG dual clutch automatic gearbox.
Significant visual changes are also in store, as this hot hatchback benefits from revised bumpers, LED headlights, honeycomb grille inserts and red accents. Other highlights include a sports suspension with adjustable dampers and dual exhaust tailpipes.
Inside the cabin, the Volkswagen Polo GTI Facelift comes with sport seats, black accents, red contrast stitching and unique instrument graphics as well as a new steering wheel design.
