The German luxury car maker BMW is testing the new facelifted version of its 1 Series ahead of the official debut.
2015 BMW 1 Series Facelift has received a new front and rear-end design, with a new front grille, lower air intakes and different headlight clusters. In the back, the Germans offer a new taillight cluster design and a revised rear bumper.
Interior changes on the luxury hatchback are relatively limited but include the latest version of BMW’s iDrive infotainment system and some more driving assisting facilities.
As far as the engine lineup goes, it will most likely be carried over from the current 1-Series, but with certain improvements in terms of emissions and fuel economy. The transmission could be a six-speed manual and an eight-speed automatic transmission.
2015 BMW 1 Series Facelift is expected to receive a formal launch in the early 2015, with sales in Europe beginning shortly thereafter. The car will be a serious rival for Audi A3 Sportback, Mercedes Benz A-Class and Volvo V40.
The changes are nice. Happy they didn’t do too much with it. This car design is awesome too.
