Mercedes has recently taken the wraps off the new C63 AMG and the high-performance variant C63 AMG S.
The Mercedes C63 AMG adopts a sportier look as it features sportier bumpers, adaptive dampers, high-performance brakes, 18-inch lightweight alloy wheels as well as four exhaust tailpipes. Inside the cabin, designers have added a black headliner and AMG-branded floor mats.
The C63 AMG takes its power from a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine that generates 469 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque, teamed with a seven-speed AMG Speedshift MCT transmission which permits this car model to quicken from 0-100 km/h in 4.2 seconds prior to hitting a top velocity of 250 km/h.
The Mercedes C63 AMG S has received composite brakes and 19-inch lightweight alloy wheels. Powering the higher-spec variant is a twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 engine rated at 503 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque. As a result, the sprint from standstill to 100 km/h is done in 4.1 seconds while the top speed is clocked at 250 km/h.
The Mercedes C63 AMG and C63 AMG S are expected to be on display at the Paris Motor Show next month.
