Porsche has taken the wraps off the 2015 911 GTS. The car is available in multiple versions as a convertible with rear- or all-wheel drive or as a coupe. As with all Porsche Cars, prices are a thing to consider when even daring to dream of the 2015 911 GTS.
For the US, the 911 Carrera GTS starts at $114,200 and the 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet costs $126,100. The 911 Carrera 4 GTS coupe retails for $120,900 and $132,800 for the convertible. Also important to mention is the fact that US prices exclude a $995 destination fee.
Even though details have not been realesed about the the 2015 911 GTS’s performance specifications, power is provided by a 3.8-liter six-cylinder engine that develops 430 PS (316 kW).
Since it’s all about speed, the GTS Coupe is the fastest of the bunch as it can hit 306 km/h if equipped with rear-wheel drive and a manual transmission. However all four models have a top speed of 300 km/h (186 mph) .
Get ready, because here comes exciting news: when connected to a PDK transmission, the coupe accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 4.0 seconds.
Improvements of the 2015 911 GTS include a sports exhaust system with black chrome-plated tailpipes, black engine vents and tinted bi-xenon headlights. On the inside, though changes are limited, it’s all about Alcantara leather. The producers of the 2015 911 GTS loved it so much, that it’s basically everywhere, from the sport seats, to the dashboard or the roof liner.
