The 2015 Ford Everest has recently been teased as the SUV is set to be publicly revealed on November 13th in China.
Ford’s new Everest has previously been caught on camera while being tested and a concept that was launched last year served as a preview for the upcoming vehicle.
Details are still limited at the moment, but the car will be produced in Thailand and the company has confirmed that the seven-seat Everest will be “rugged, refined and amazingly capable”. It will reportedly be offered in four exterior colours: Radiant Red, Steel Blue, Carbon Grey, Electric Gold and Warm Sienna.
As for mechanicals, expect the engines to be carried over from the Ranger. We are talking about a 2.2-litre Duratorq TDCi four-cylinder diesel engine that generates 150 hp and 277 lb-ft of torque and a 3.2-litre Duratorq TDCi five-cylinder diesel unit that develops 200 hp and 347 lb-ft of torque. The drive will probably go to all four wheels.
