Scheduled to make a debut at the Auto Shanghai 2015 in China, Volkswagen Scirocco GTS facelift has been unveiled by the producer. By far the most important change regarding the car is the fact that it brings an increase of 10 PS (7 kW) in comparison to it’s predecessor.
The new Volkswagen Scirocco GTS draws motivation from a four-cylinder 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine that gives no less than 220 PS (162 kW). Options offered by the producers count a standard six-speed manual gearbox or an optional six-speed DSG.
Basically the superb Scirocco can hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 6.5 seconds. And fans that love speed will have no reason to be displeased as the new Volkswagen reaches a top speed of 244 km/h and 246 km/h with the manual.
It is also important to mention that drivers might be attracted by the fresh 18-inch Norwich alloy wheels, red brake calipers and an R-Line exterior package that comes with R-styled bumpers, custom side sill extensions and a rear diffuser.
Inside the car passengers will be able to enjoy a sports steering wheel with red seams, the Composition Colour infotainment system, stainless steel pedals and a chrome trim package.
And to make the new Scirocco even more attractive producers offer the following options for exterior colour : Flash Red, Pure White, Oryx White, Urano Grey, Indium Grey and Deep Black.
