Super important news coming for Porsche as the company plans to release the Cayman GT4 Clubsport in November at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
Inspite of speculations the hardcore Cayman GT4 seen some time ago turned out to be nothing more than a a track-only version. Actually the company announced today that today a motorsport-spec variant will be show next month in L.A.
Get ready to be amazed because as far as power goes we have super information. The new Cayman will come with a flat-six 3.8-liter engine providing 385 bhp (283 kW).
Changes are expected in the weight department too as the regular GT4 tips the scales at 1,340 kg (2,954 lbs). It seems the racing version will be 40 kg (88 lbs) lighter. The full list of specifications will most likely be available on November 18 when the Cayman GT4 Clubsport will be unveiled in L.A.
As far as the company claims the car will be homologated for various racing series such as Pirelli World Challenge, Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge, Pirelli GT3 Cup Trophy USA and Ultra 94 GT3 Cup Challenge Canada.
