The new Infinity ESQ has recently been revealed at the 2014 Chengdu Auto Show. The vehicle in question is basically a rebadged Nissan Juke Nismo and will be sold only in China.
Infinity ESQ sports revised bumpers and an aggressive body kit with a front spoiler, a large rear diffuser and side skirts. The car has also received a new grille with a big ESQ logo and 18-inch alloy wheels.
On the inside, leather with cross-stitched accents replace Juke Nismo’s Alcantara-lined steering wheel and the contrast stitching.
Infinity ESQ is offered with the same powertrain that drives the Juke Nismo, meaning that the SUV takes its power from a 1.6-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine capable of delivering 197 hp and 184 lb-ft of torque, teamed with a seven-speed CVT transmission. The engine will be driving all four wheels.
Infinity ESQ is slated to go on sale in October. Pricing starts at 200,000 yuan (32,000 dollars) and will go up to 300,000 yuan (48,700 dollars) for the fully-equipped model.
