Looking forward to see what the new Mercedes – Maybach S600 will look like? Well good news just came from the producers as the future car is closer to reality. Mercedes-Benz has released two teaser images of the extra-long wheelbase S-Class. The car is scheduled to arrive at the Los Angeles and Guangzhou auto shows later this month.

Coming as a succesoor of the defunct Maybach sub brand, the more luxurious S-Class aims for a big market. According to producers the car will try to compete with the Rolls-Royce Ghost and Bentley Flying Spur.

As for the exterior the list of changes counts updated C-pillars and a slightly modified front grille denoting the model’s position within the range and stretched rear doors. Regarding the special flavour of the Maybach, the trunk of the new car will include the “Maybach” lettering.

Changes not quite as big as you expected? Well, let’s go inside for a moment, as most of the great news regarding the new car concern the interior.

On the inside there will be electronically-adjustable and reclining individual rear seats and significantly more rear legroom with. Everything will be topped by a higher level of customization available along with a more vast choice of materials and trims.

But wait, we have news on power too. The new Mercedes –Maybach will use a V12 6.0-liter twin-turbo engine generating 530 HP (390 kW) and 830 Nm (612 lb-ft) of torque.
