The MTM tuning division has recently revealed an upgraded version of the Audi S8. The model in question was designed in celebration of the 332 km/h run that was completed on Talladega Speedway, Alabama, in 1986 by Bobby Unser with an Audi 5000 CS Turbo.
Under the hood, the car features a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine which has been tuned to deliver more power. Thus, the maximum output has increased from 520 hp to a whopping 760 hp and torque went from 479 lb-ft to 697 lb-ft.
With this powertrain, the luxurious Audi S8 Talladega shoots to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds before reaching an electronically-limited top speed of 325 km/h.
The Audi S8 Talladega has received 21-inch Bimoto wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires, carbon ceramic brakes and a new stainless steel exhaust system.
This Audi S8 Talladega comes as a limited edition vehicle since only 25 units will be produced, each of them carrying a price tag of 189,708 euros.
