Love Audi A 6, but can’t really afford one? Well what might be good news for you is not such a thrill for Audi management.
As you probably may have guessed by now we reffer to Chinese automakers JAC that have replicated the interior & exterior design of the Audi A6. JAC’s sedan will cost 180,000 yuan ($29,300 / €23,500 / £18,600) and could go up to 250,000 yuan ($40,600 / €32,600 / £25,900).
As far the car’s aspect goes the Audi A6 interior and exterior have bith been stolen. Not only these but JAC went so far as to even decide that the car will be commercialized with the “Refine A6” moniker. Size will be an issue as the chinese car is 4995mm long, 1865mm wide and 1503mm tall, with a 2915mm wheelbase.
The JAC Refine A6 will go on sale next year with a turbocharged 1.5-liter developing 170 bhp (127 kW) and 251 Nm (185 lb-ft) as well as with a 2.0-liter turbo rated at 190 bhp (142 kW) and 280 Nm (206 lb-ft) channeled to the wheels through a six-speed dual clutch.
An ongoing dispute is currently taking place between Land Rover and Chinese automakers local automakers Jiangling Motors and Changan Auto. The subject is similiar to that of the Audi A6 case as the chinese have developed a Range Rover lookalike called Landwind X7.
