Abarth deals with heavy aftermarket customizations for a wide range of models, including the exquisite 500 lineup from Fiat. The shop`s projects are exclusive and stand out from the crowd with more aggressive body language and increase performance under the hood; and such vehicles are easy to spot on the streets.
Abarth has also introduced an updated variant of the 595 model in Australia, now coming with a price tag of at least $26,990 and new elements at the exterior as well as under the hood. The top of the line can be had from $31,990.
There are two variants available in the Land Down Under – the standard 595 and the 595 Competizione. The styling package includes five exterior colours – Abarth Red, Gara White, Campovolo, Modena Yellow and Pista Grey – adding as well 16-inch wheels, as standard, satin chrome trims and LED daytime running lights. The Competizione can be had with 17-inch Corsa alloy wheels with Brembo brakes, Koni dampers orbi-modal Monza sports exhaust system.
The cabin also looks fresh with the new 5.0-inch Uconnect touchscreen for the dashboard, equipped with Bluetooth, satellite navigation, digital radio or audio streaming. There is also the 440-Watt Beats by Dr. Dre Beats Audio system.
Under the hood, both variants are equipped with a 1.4-liter turbo flat-four engine, developing 107 kW and 132 kW, respectively. The models are fitted with a standard manual or an optional automatic transmission. the Competizione variant is able to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds.
