The Japanese-based carmaker Honda has recently announced the presence of the gorgeous 2019 Accord in the US market, the model arriving in dealerships in a matter of days.
Prices start from $23,720 for the entry-level model and go up to $36,845 for the top of the line Honda Accord Touring. Prices don’t include the $895 destination and handling fee. Full prices and EPA mileage rating are detailed in the media gallery below.
The 2019 Honda Accord comes with standard features for all models, like LED headlights and taillights, dual-zone climate control, push-button start/stop, and 7-inch digital driver`s meter. There is also the company`s new Honda Sensing safety systems package, with plenty of drivers-assist technologies. Some of them refer to Blind Spot Information, Driver Attention, Lane Departure Warning and much more.
Higher trim levels also get the 8.0-inch high-resolution Display Audion touch-screen with Apple CarPlay and Android support, 6.0-inch head-up display, automatic Bluetooth phone pairing, wireless charging, along with next-gen HondaLink Assist with 4G LTE and in-car Wi-Fi.
The top of the line Touring variants will be equipped with the HondaLink telematics system which allows driver to lock or to unlock the doors using their smart-phones. This particular model also gets a high-performance 10-speed automatic transmission.
As for performance under the hood, the 2019 Honda Accord uses at least a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 192 horsepower and 260 Nm of torque, along with a higher 2.0-liter turbo inline four-cylinder pot, developing 252 horsepower and 370 Nm of torque. There is also a hybrid variant with a 2.0-liter i-VTEC engine plus an electric motor. This one outputs a good 212 horsepower.
All variants, besides the top of the line Touring are equipped with a six-speed manual transmission, as well as a CVT and the aforementioned 10-speed automatic.
