Chevrolet has revealed its new Colorado Performance Concept. The vehicle in question has been built in collaboration with motocross legend Ricky Carmichael and is to be showcased at this year’s Sema Auto Show in Las Vegas.
The mid-size pick-up truck is aimed at active outdoor sports enthusiasts and benefits from a tailgate extender and a GearOn accessory system to provide enough space for motorcycles and mountain bikes, but also for smaller items like sleeping bags.
Chevrolet Colorado Performance Concept has a unique matte gray paintwork with high-gloss silver and yellow accents. It features a graphic with Carmichael’s signature and yellow-tinted 17-inch aluminum wheels wrapped in Goodyear Duratec off-road tyres as well as a performance exhaust system.
The Chevrolet Colorado Performance Concept takes its power from the same 3.6-litre V6 engine as the standard Colorado. The unit is able to produce 305 hp and and 269 lb-ft of torque.
On the inside, there is a yellow-on-black theme and Carmichael’s number four has been embroidered in the front headrests.
