Toyota introduced the second version of the FT-86 concept at Geneva

Toyota has kept his word and made his homework for Geneva Motor Show where it presented the second concept, this time with the design completed, the new model will be developed together with those from Subaru, Toyota FT-86.

This new coupe model from Toyota, according to the second concept will, be built and put on sale in 2012. Exterior design draws fine lines that recall the famous 2000 GT 60s.The concept has a length of 4235 mm, a width of 1795 mm and height 1,270 mm.

The Subaru will handle the engine. They will not use a large capacity engine to provide the power of the new model, but a boxer engine combined with a six-speed manual transmission and a low center of gravity to provide a suitable power / weight ratio.

Also from from Geneva Motor Show, Subaru presented its own interpretation of the new model. It will have a 2-liter engine and 260 horsepower. This version will have also the rear-wheel drive as the Toyota. Both versions of the FT-86 will be available in Europe since 2012.
