The new Mitsubishi Outlander Facelift has been caught on camera while undergoing tests prior to its first official reveal. The heavy camouflage on the front and rear fascias suggests that the Japanese company is tweaking the design.
This facelifted Outlander features new LED taillights and redesigned fog lights. The car will probably benefit from a new grille with revised headlights and a more dynamic bumper.
On the interior of the seven-seater crossover SUV, you will find the same Rockford Fosgate touchscreen infotainment system that is present in the outgoing model.
While technical details for the new Mitsubishi Outlander Facelift are currently unknown, we expect that the power will be sourced from the same four-cylinder or six-cylinder engines. There is a chance that the SUV will be available in Europe with the 2.2-litre diesel unit. It appears that the drive will go to all four wheels. Minor improvements in fuel economy and CO2 emissions are also likely to occur.
Mitsubishi Outlander Facelift may be officially launched before the end of the year before going on sale in the first months of 2015.
