A camouflaged prototype version of the new Audi RS3 Sportback has been spied during its final testing phase in Germany, ahead of an official premiere which may take place at the upcoming Paris Motor Show.
The hot hatchback features a more aggressive front bumper, a lowered suspension and oval exhaust tips.
The 2015 Audi RS3 Sportback is supposed to come with the company’s popular five-cylinder 2.5-litre engine which is expected to develop approximately 360 hp and 343 lb-ft of torque. A more powerful variant could also be launched, though nothing is official as of yet.
The five-door Sportback will be offered with a Quattro all-wheel drive as standard as well as a DSG transmission, but a manual gearbox may also be available for this car model.
This Audi RS3 Sportback will likely go on sale in late 2014 or early 2015, after its official reveal. Reports indicate that Audi may also sell an RS3 sedan, based on the A3 clubsport quattro concept that was unveiled a few months ago at Wörthersee in Austria.
