The French car manufacturer Peugeot has officially unveiled the 308 GT model during the 2014 Paris Motor Show. The vehicle in question is available in hatchback and wagon versions.
Peugeot 308 GT gets a sportier styling with an aggressive front bumper a redesigned front grille, LED headlamps, a black rear diffuser, a twin exhaust system, 18-inch Diamant-style wheels wrapped in Michelin Sport 3 tyres, high-performance brakes, a tuned sports suspension system and GT badging.
Inside the cabin, the car benefits from red contrast stitching, a perforated leather steering wheel, a new instrument cluster and an anthracite roof liner.
As far as the engine options are concerned, the Peugeot 308 GT can be had with a 1.6-litre THP four-cylinder petrol engine generating 205 hp and 210 lb-ft of torque that is connected to a six-speed manual gearbox and a 2.0-litre BlueHDi four-cylinder diesel unit producing 180 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque paired to an automatic transmission.
No pricing details have been announced yet, but the Peugeot 308 GT is expected to cost around £25,000.
