More and more car producers all around the world seem to become obsessed with adjusting to market requests and pleasing customers.
And Lotus wants to keep up at all costs. Therefore they recently made an important announcement regarding two models that they are producing now. Six-speed automatic will be an option on the Exige S & Exige S Roadster. The automatic transmission will cost £2,000 (€2,185).
Lotus Exige S automatic is set to ge on sale on the first month of 2015. According to the information provided by the producers, the six – speed automatic transmision promises to combine “involvement of a manual paddle-shift with all the convenience of an automatic.”
At the moment the model is still being tested. This is why no complete information about power is yet available. Even so producers come with great news. Exige S Automatic accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 3.9 seconds which is 0.1 seconds faster than its manual counterpart.
Feature list also includes a Sport and Race mode with an “optimized gear selection and response [that] deliver quicker all-round performance when a sportier experience is desired”.
