The Japanese carmaker Toyota has revealed a special model called Avalon XLE Touring Sport Edition, which was designed to celebrate 20 years since Avalon’s first launch.
On the outside, the sedan wears an Attitude Black paint. Other highlights include automatic HID headlamps and 18-inch black-painted alloy wheels with Michelin tyres.
Inside the cabin, the Touring Sport Edition is equipped with heated front seats, dark blue trim, special floor mats and aluminum scuff plate door sills. There is also the second generation Entune audio.
No changes have been made in the powertrain department, so the Avalon Touring Sport Edition will come with the same 3.5-litre V6 engine rated at 268 hp and 248 lb-ft of torque coupled to a six-speed automatic transmission.
Sales of the Toyota Avalon Touring Sport Edition are confirmed to start in a few days and prices kick off at $37,995 with shipping included. Toyota is reported to build only 2,500 units of this special edition until March 2015.
