Wondering what makes the new car so special? You might be pleased to know that the Aston Martin Lagonda Taraf is described as the “the finest of fast cars”.
The Lagonda Taraf will be hand-built by the best craftsmen from Aston Martin’s manufacturing facilities in Gaydon, Warwickshire.
And it seems that for the new Aston Martin, designers didn’t have to look very far for inspiration. The new model is based on the brand’s flexible VH architecture. Also the car draws inspiration from the “highly sought-after William Towns-designed Lagonda of 1976”.
Nothing is official regarding the car’s power, but the new Aston Martin might be powered by an updated V12 6.0-liter power plant that produces about 600 bhp (447 kW).
And confirmation that the Aston Martin Lagonda Taraf is quite special came straight from the producers at the launch event in Dubai. Aston Martin’s new CEO Andy Palmer stated that “I can confirm today that we are also evaluating the opportunity to offer this Lagonda in other markets.”
