Seat Leon ST CUPRA has finally been revealed. Following the Cupra’s launched in March 2014 the new model is available with two body styles. The car will be officialy unveiled at the 2015 Geneva Motor.
The car will also be available with multiple engine options. While Leon ST CUPRA will have a four-cylinder 2.0 turbocharged gasoline engine that develops 265 HP (195 kW), Leon ST CUPRA 280 will offer 280 HP (206 kW). For both options maximum torque will be of 350 Nm (258 lb-ft).
Not only this but speed will be increased with the 280 CUPRA as the car is equipped with the optional DSG gearbox that sprints to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 6 seconds.
The same sprint is completed by Leon ST CUPRA in 6.1s with the DSG. Both versions have an electronically-capped top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h).
Models also come with LED ambient lighting and a Media System Plus infotainment system packing a 6.5-inch touchscreen color display full LED headlights, LED taillights and Alcantara-wrapped sport seats.
SEAT Leon ST CUPRA benefits from a system called Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC) that instantly allows the chassis characteristics to match the road conditions.
Feature list continues with a front-axle differential lock which improves traction and diminishes torque steer. Not only this but the car is available with both 18-inch or 19- inch alloy wheels coresponding to both variants.
