Pickup trucks are the big “thing” in the United States at the present moment, with plenty of carmakers now presenting their most affordable offers for 2018.

From Honda carmaker comes the latest pickup called the Ridgeline and offered as a MY2019. Besides the models offered by Toyota in the US, the new Ridgeline from Honda is the real “take” against the already famous American utes.

It is not that exceptional from a visual standpoint, however it catches up with a series of high-tech gadgetries, off-road equipment and a good performance under the hood. Perhaps this is why it is offered from $29,990.

In terms of exterior cosmetics, the 2019 Honda Ridgeline presents itself as an appealing truck with LED headlights, Honda`s easily-distinguishable and modern front grille, massive wheels and more.

The options and features inside comprise an eight-inch Display Audio touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay Integration, eight-way power driver`s seat with adjustable lumbar support, three-zone automatic climate control and ambient interior lighting.

As for performance under the hood, the 2019 Honda Ridgeline in all its forms comes with a 3.5-liter direct-injected i-VTEC V6 engine, hooked to a six-speed automatic transmission system. It is also connected to an Intelligent Torque Management system. The overall power is set at 280 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque.

As for fuel consumption, the EPA economy rating stands at 18/26/22 for the 2WD variants and 18/25/21 for the AWD models.
