Revealed prior to the 2018 New York Auto Show, the all-new 2019 Toyota RAV4 is slowly but surely making its way onto the North American market, becoming a serious contender in the segment with a splashing design and the latest technology onboard.

One of the main attractions of the show, the 2019 Toyota RAV4 is now looking more aggressive and feeling more powerful. We are dealing here with a completely new car in terms of design, embracing the company`s new philosophy. It also shares some aggressive lines with the FT-AC Concept which previewed the model some time ago.

Besides the new looks, the 2019 Toyota RAV4 also features the new 19-inch alloy wheels, along with improved dynamics, like multi-link rear suspension system.

Standing on the new TNGA platform which uses lightweight materials, the new RAV4 is more rigid and comes with increased handling capabilities. Also, the noise inside is reduced thanks to the same multi-link rear suspension.

Longer and wider, the car`s interior space has been considerably improved, allowing for more legroom for the rear passengers. There are also the highest-quality materials all around, while boasting technology at its finest. Among the top notch features we should mention Entune 3.0 multimedia with Wi-Fi Connect, Apple CarPlay compatibility, Amazon Alexa or Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) with the latest safety systems.

In the engine department, the 2019 Toyota RAV4 is also powerful and more efficient in terms of fuel consumption.

There are three variants available – Limited, Adventure and XSE Hybrid – equipped with two Dynamic Force engines. There`s a 2.5-liter flat-four cylinder with eight-speed automatic and a 2.5-liter inline four-cylinder Toyota Hybrid System II (THS II) with a CVT. There is also the new dynamic Torque Vectoring All-Wheel Drive with Rear Driveline Disconnect version.

Toyota carmaker has also released the official video and a gorgeous media gallery with the latest RAV4 model below. Enjoy and don’t forget to tell us if you like the SUV!
