Datsun has officially revealed its all-new car model, dubbed mi-DO, at the 2014 Moscow Motor Show. The five-door hatchback is based on the on-DO sedan and the company claims this car model is practical but also sporty.
The Datsun mi-Do has a 2,476mm wheelbase and is 3,950mm long. It features a “D-Cut” grille and revised headlights. As for standard equipment, the vehicle benefits from a driver and passenger airbag and ABS as well as a winter pack that includes heated seats and door mirrors.
This Datsun mi-DO takes its power from a 1.6-litre 8V engine generating 87 hp, mated to a five speed manual transmission. A four-speed automatic transmission is offered as optional. The drive will go to the front wheels only.
Production of the Datsun mi-Do is set to commence in December at the Togliatti factory and sales should kick off in the first months of 2015. Pricing details on the car were not released yet.
The company is also offering a comprehensive three year/100,000 km warranty and a unique credit program called Datsun Finance.
