Long awaited for. A great mistery. A jewelry revealed step by step. These are just a few wais in which we can describe the new Mercedes-Maybach S600. Recently the car has made an appearance at the 2014 Guangzhou Auto Show.

You might be pleased to know that the new car has gained the “quietest car in the world” status. Magic is provided by the use of more sound-deadening material and special seals optimizing noise insulation. As far as the Mercedes’s aspect goes, the new piece is a longer and more luxurious version of the S-Class LWB.

Designed around the long wheelbase S-Class, the new Mercedes has suffered some alterations. In it’s final variant, the vehicle has an overall length of 5453mm and comes with a 3365mm wheelbase.

As far as styling goes, it’s easy to see that the unique Maybach styling is present. More to the point, for the new model the front grille has been slightly modified, rear doors are 66mm shorter, and the car rides on a set of wheels reminiscent of the defunct Maybach 62.

It’s important to mention that the Mercedes-Maybach S600 has been developed to rival the traditional British brands Rolls-Royce and Bentley.
