Following a first batch of leaked images some while ago, the all-new 2019 Mercedes-Benz CLS has been recently unveiled at the 2017 L.A. Auto Show, the model being also highlighted in the official videos which reveal the car`s evolutionary exterior and luxurious interior.
Set to arrive on the market in the second quarter of 2018, the 2019 Mercedes CLS comes with the latest trends in design and a suite of technological gizmos that make it one of the most advanced models from the German based carmaker.
The flowing design is highlighted by the new LED High Performance headlamps and much larger taillights that perfectly fit the car`s rear fascia. The entire design is also complemented by the new 18-inch alloy wheels with wide tires which increase its stability and provide better grip and stance.
The new LCS is also adopting the latest safety features, including Lane Keeping Assist and Speed Limit Assist, while the cabin is enhanced with a 12.3-inch widescreen display, also seen on the much luxurious E-Class series, and coming with a COMMAND infotainment system and gauge cluster; it adds as well four circular illuminated air vents and push-button ignition. The interior`s sporty feel will be enhanced with a new steering wheel, also set to offer a cozy and elegant feel.
There is also the First Edition model which will be launched ahead the car`s introduction on the market, and which will come with new trims and colours. An AMG variant is also likely to be released with a new turbocharged six-cylinder engine.
Speaking of engines, the all-new 2019 Mercedes-Benz CLS will come with new three six-cylinder pots. We are dealing here with the CLS 350 d 4MATIC with 286 HP, CLS 400 d 4MATIC with 340 HP, as well as the CLS 450 4MATIC with 367 HP.
