America`s most important auction company Barrett-Jackson, is home to hundreds of classic cars evert year, and with this year`s ongoing event, some fine and custom-built models were sold for the highest prices.

One such exclusive ride that was also recently unveiled at the 2018 NAIAS, in Detroit, is no other than the 2019 Ford Mustang Bullitt.

The models was sold last weekend for no less than $300,000, with all the proceeds going to Boys Republic, a public school that legendary actor of the 1970s Steve McQueen, also attended to. The school is also a treatment community for youth at risk.

As a reminder, the 2019 Ford Mustang Bullitt is an homage to Steve McQueen, the American company also celebrating the 50th anniversary of the classic “Bullitt.”

This means that the Mustang in question is a special muscle car, with a distinctive design and paintjob and one-off features.

About the car`s one-off features, Darrell Behmer, Mustang chief designer, had some “nice” words to say:

“This new Bullitt is, as Steve McQueen was, effortlessly cool. As a designer, it`s my favorite Mustang – devoid of stripes, spoilers and badges. It doesn’t need to scream about anything – it`s just cool.”

The first striking thing about the Bullitt`s exterior is the magnificent colour, the same one as the original Bullitt Mustang and which is called “Dark Highland Green” with chrome accents as well. However, there are also other colours available in case you don’t like the standard one.

Inside, the cabin can be customized with optional RECARO black leather-trimmed seats with green accent stitching.

Under the hood, the 2019 Ford Mustang Bullitt brags with a massive 5.0-liter V8 engine, churning out 475 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque. The performance figures are also achieved thanks to the fitting of a new Open Air Induction system, active valve performance exhaust system with Black NitroPlate tips or Shelby GT350 intake manifold with 87 mm throttle bodies and powertrain control.
