TThe italians from the Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera celebrated their 95 years of activity with the first model with a central engine. It is modeled after a Ferrari supercar and only 18 units of the car will be produced.
Superleggera Touring was founded by Felice Bianchi Anderloni and Gaetano Ponzoni in 1926 in Milan. Thus, celebrating the 95th anniversary of its work, the Italian bodybuilder presented its first model with a central engine.
Its model name is Arese RH95 and it is designed with a Ferrari supercar chassis but the specific model of the Ferrari was not mentioned. The only thing that is known is that the car is equipped with a V8 engine whose power is 670 horsepower and whose torque is 760 Nm. There is a seven-speed automatic transmission with rear-wheel-drive to top it all up.
With such parameters, the Arese RH95 accelerates to 100 km/h in 3 seconds and can develop a maximum speed of 330 km/h, what a car!
What you would expect from a conventional bodybuilder is that the exterior of the car is entirely restyled and carries components of carbon fiber-reinforced plastic. For the interior, the Italians have provided the highest quality materials and individual options for additional equipment.
Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera will manufacture 18 units and the manufacturing of one will take about 18 months.
The first one has been carried out and is finished in the shade of Pino Green.
The second one will be dedicated to the Alfa Romeo GTA race cars of the ’60s, while the third one will be blue and orange painted (Gulf Oil).
The exposure to the public will be in September at Salon Prive.
