As we know the Los Angeles Auto Show is just around the corner. While car fans all over the world are waiting anxiously to see what surprises have been prepared by the auto industry giants, car producers are getting busy.
It is the case for Mazda that has made public the first teaser image of the CX-3. The car is scheduled to debut on the 19th of November at the Los Angeles Auto Show. And the CX -3 promises to have great company, as it will be shown with the facelifted CX-5 & Mazda6.
As far as power goes, nothing is official. However, since the CX-3 is based on Mazda2 it could benefit from a large variety of engines. Options include a 1.5-liter SKYACTIV-G with 75 PS (55 kW) and 135 Nm (99 lb-ft) of torque, a 1.5-liter SKYACTIV-G with 90 PS (66 kW) and 148 Nm (109 lb-ft) of torque, a 1.5-liter SKYACTIV-G i-ELOOP with 115 PS (85 kW) and 148 Nm (109 lb-ft) of torque, a 1.5-liter SKYACTIV-D with 105 PS (77 kW) and 220 Nm (162 lb-ft) of torque.
As described by the producers, Mazda CX-3 will become the brand’s entry-level crossover. And great words just keep coming.
The new Maza will exude “beauty and sophistication”. Magic will be provided by the Kodo design that produces a “sharper form with an enhanced sense of speed.”
