Alfa Romeo 4C Spider has made its official debut in Detroit on the dawn of the North American International Auto Show. Long awaited for by car fans the model has made several appearances on the internet before the official unveiling.
Speaking of design it is important to mention that Alfa kept the main features of the 4C Coupe, though the car has gained 10 kg due to changes regarding the roof. The brand new Alfa Romeo 4C Spider adds sculpted air intakes and an optional exposed carbon fiber hardtop for the removable roof.
As far as power goes Alfa Romeo 4C Spider will run on a four-cylinder, 1.75-liter turbocharged gasoline engine that offers 237 bhp (177 HP) and 258 lb-ft (350 Nm) of torque.The super car takes the 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) sprint in 4.1 seconds and tops out at 160 mph (258 km/h).
List of features for Alfa Romeo 4C Spider counts new headlights, a deck lid with three functional heat extractors and an aero-optimized spoiler, LED techonology for taillights and an optional Akrapovic performance exhaust system with center-mounted tips that have carbon fiber surrounds.
The car will be available with alloy wheels that come in four variants with sizes that go from 17 to 19 inches. Not only this but multiple variants will be offered for the colour of the car. Seven exterior paints will be available, while inside there are six combinations with two seat material options.
Inside arsenal includes aluminum pedals, carbon fiber vent surrounds and a seven-inch color digital cluster, two composite-framed sport seats covered in leather and a flat-bottomed leather-wrapped steering wheel.
