Important information regarding the new model planned by Land Rover have appeared on the internet. As you may remember just recently we managed to find out that the new Rover will be a transition model between the Evoque and the Sport.
Also it is expected that work building the car will be finished soon as the new Rover is to be revealed in 2016. More to the point it seems that the engineers that will design the car will draw insiration from the Jaguar F-Pace.
Design will be an important aspect of the new Rover so the car will most likely come with a lower rooflline. A longer wheelbase granting a spacious cabin and the option for a seven-seat layout will be on the list of changes the new Rover brings.
Unlike for other brands the producer has already announed pricing so it seems that the new Rover will debut at £40,000 ($58,630 or €55,220) while an increase in pricing is expected as feature list becomes larger and more exciting.
Motivation will be provided by an Ingenium four-cylinder turbocharged gasoline and diesel engines for the cheapest version. As far as the high-spec goes, a V6 motor promsises to offer magic. Also an electric version of the car is expected for drivers that are concerned about protecting the environment. This model might end up costing about £85,000 ($124,600 or €117,300).
