As car fans all over the world already know Bugatti is planning to replace the Veyron with the “Chiron” that is announced to benefit from no less than 92% new or modified parts.
Most likely the new Chiron will come out in 2016. And since we all know the auto industry is all about offering small but constant information regarding new cars or planned ones it seems that the new Chiron will run on a W16 8.0-liter e super engine.
As known by now the engine is expected to have e-turbos, direct injection and cylinder deactivation. The new car will provide an output of no less than 1,500 PS (1,103 kW). Basically the Chiron will take the 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) sprint in just two seconds.
And as a specific target the new car aims to achieve “performance figures to shame some F1 cars.” In translation this means that the superb Chiron will have a top speed of no less than 288 mph (463 km/h).
And list of changes continues as the car maker plans for the new Chiron to return 14 mpg UK (11 mpg US or 20 liters / 100 km). As a comparison Veyron Super Sport returns 12.2 mpg UK (10.1 mpg US or 23.1 liters / 100 km).
