Audi has unveiled the TT clubsport turbo concept. Destined for super drivers the car packs a
bi-turbo 5-cylinder, 2.5-liter TFSI engine paired with an electric turbo that offers
no less than 600 PS (441 kW) and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque.
Basically the superb TT takes the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in 3.6 seconds. And super information is yet to come as the car has a maximum speed of 192 mph (310 km/h).
However fans expecting a TT-RS equipped with this engine will be dissapointed to find out that the variant has been overruled by the company as development chief for Audi Ulrich Hackenberg described the technology as “close to production readiness.”
The new Audi TT concept weighs no less that 1,396 kg (3,077 lbs) and is 14 cm (5.5 inches) wider than the regular version. The superb Audi TT concept comes with a six-speed manual transmission. The special arsenal counts 20-inch six twin-spoke alloys featuring a bi-color look that are wrapped in 275/30 tires.
And speed won’t be a problem as you can ride as crazy as you want and still be secured by carbon fiber ceramic brakes which on the front axle measure 370mm. Magic continues on the inside as the new TT concept comes with Carbon fiber reinforced plastic, black Alcantara and coral orange Alcantara round off the interior tweaks. The car will be officialy presented in a few days.
