It seems that a GT4 model is planned by Mercedes-AMG for 2018. The superb car will compete with the second generation Porsche Panamera.
By far the new model promises to draw extra attention thanks to the superb design. Some of the most important details that promise to bring the new GT4 a special flavour are an “amazingly low roofline” bespoke doors, quarter panels and bumpers. List of improvements includes unique lighting clusters and a practical tailgate. Also the underpinnings are set to be borrowed from the next-gen CLS.
Magic is promised to be brought by the engine lineup that will include an inline-six 2.9-liter turbodiesel with 300 bhp (223 kW) and 400 bhp (298 kW), an electrified six-cylinder turbo that comes with 455 bhp (339 kW) and a couple of V8s providing no less than 557 bhp (415 kW) and 585 bhp (436 kW).
