All-New Hyundai i30 N Gets ‘N Option’ Treatment

At the 2018 Paris Motor Show, Hyundai car manufacturer presented a gorgeous concept car treated with the N Option package, which is set to equip its high-end models in the future, making them more appealing and sportier.

We are dealing here with a factory treatment that will first equip the company`s hottest hatch – the i30 N – consisting of upgrades both at the exterior as well as inside the cabin.

Speaking of the introduction of the N Option pack on the i30N, Thomas Schemera, Executive Vice President at Hyundai Motor Group, has also stated that:

“With our N portfolio we are shaking up the competition, and bringing new performance and emotions for our customers. The development of our N vehicles is grounded in Motorsport and our engagement there is the pinnacle of N. The new i30 N Line and our i30 N ‘N Option’ show car illustrate our dual approach to customization, making N available to a wider audience.”

Speaking of customizations, the N Option package makes the i30 N sportier and more attractive, shaking the competition with new exterior and interior highlights. This means a series of 25 high-quality options available inside and outside.

At the exterior, the model is offered with a gorgeous matt paintjob, adding 20-inch lightweight alloy wheels with high-performance tires, carbon fiber rear wing with the N badge, N grille with red character line, or carbon vented hood and quad mufflers.

As for the interior, the ‘N Option’ brings fresh Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel, sport pedals and gear shifter, sport bucket seats with red accents, as well as carbon accents on the air vents, doors and dashboard.

Unfortunately for the moment, there seems to be no word of any power enhancements under the hood. However, the company let us understand that in the near future, the ‘N Option’ package might come with a series of power upgrades, if it proves to be successful. Until then, customers can still enjoy a hot hatch with great performance on the Ring, and that thanks to an impressive 275 PS and 353 Nm of torque.
