Audi A4 Avant has finally been spied ahead of it’s planned debut. The superb model will premiere at the at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2016.
As far as the exterior aspect is concerned the Avant looks very much like a sedan. However the super car will benefit from a longer rear overhang, roof rails and a more specious trunk as the new Avant is expected to be bigger.
Inspite of the increase in size the car will register a significant weight loss thank to the MLB Evo platform the car maker will use.
Motivation will be provied for the Audi Avant by a large variety of enines. To the joy of drivers all around the world options for the new Aud include a 1.4 TFSI engine that provides 125, 150 and 180 PS outputs, a 2.0 TFSI the gives 225 and 245 PS and a 3.0 TFSI that will come with 272 PS.
Options also include diesel versions. The entry-level is a 1.6 TDI with 120 PS. List counts a 2.0 TDI that offers 125, 150, 177, 190 and 220 PS and a 3.0 TDI that gives 218 and 260 PS.
By far the most important information comes for drivers that are keen on protecting the environment as the Avant will be offered as a hybrid too.
