The latest addition to the Buick lineup, the Envision, has been revealed in depth. This car model has been confirmed for the Chinese market, but it is also expected to hit the US market as a 2016 model.
2015 Buick Envision is positioned between the small Encore and the larger Enclave. This mid-size crossover measures 4,667mm long, 1,839mm wide and 1,696 tall and has a wheelbase of 2,750mm.
The new Envision has received a waterfall grille and xenon headlights with integrated LED daytime running lights. The car also features a chrome-plated windscreen, roof rails and is riding on 19-inch aluminum wheels.
Inside the cabin, 2015 Buick Envision comes with an 8.0-inch touchscreen display, Buick IntelliLink infotainment system and driver technologies such as parking assist, hill assists and lane departure warning system.
Power comes from a turbo-charged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine driving 260 horsepower and 247 pound-feet of torque through a six-speed automatic transmission to all front wheels.
2015 Buick Envision will face competition from the likes of the Acura RDX, Infiniti EX, BMW X3 and Mercedes GLK-Class as well.
