The new Fiat 500L Vans Design Concept debuted at the 2014 Vans US Open of Surfing. This car model is a five-door version of the 500 city car and is inspired by the Vans shoe company, popular among skaters and surfers.
On the outside, this modern-day beach cruiser comes with a unique two-tone body paint and a bold front grille with four rings of LED daytime running lights. Fiat 500L Vans Design Concept also features fog lights, a roof rack with a basket and a double-decker surfboard carrier and 18-inch matte-black alloy wheels among other distinctive design elements.
The interior of the Fiat 500L Vans Concept boasts vintage palm-patterned seats, Vans logo stickers plastered onto the dashboard and Vans Waffle Sole on the pedals and storage bins.
As for mechanicals, expect a four-cylinder 1.4-litre turbocharged MultiAir petrol engine rated at 160 bhp and 184 lb-ft of torque teamed with a six-speed manual gearbox.
It has been confirmed that Fiat 500L Vans Concept will not be put into production.
